Shiao Yng graduated from the University of Cambridge and is an RCOG fellow (UK). She is now Senior Consultant Obstetrician at the National University Hospital (Singapore), and Deputy Executive Director of the Singapore Institute for Clinical Sciences (A*STAR). As a Clinician Scientist, she has established a research program at the National University of Singapore, focusing on placental function, metabolic disorders in pregnancy, and impact on maternal and child outcomes. She has leading roles in Singapore’s birth cohorts (GUSTO, S-PRESTO) and conducts clinical trials in preconception and pregnancy (TABLET, NiPPeR).
Shiao Yng will be part of the Infant and Childhood Nutrition / Maternal and Women’s Health session on Day 1.
