Yang Hee received a doctorate in Food Biotechnology from Technical University of Berlin in Germany after graduating Kyung-Hee University in Korea (M.A./B.A. in Food Processing). She received Honorary citation from a Minister of Health & Welfare of Korea several times in recognition of the contribution to national health promotion. Before joining Amway, she had worked at Korea Health Industry Development Institute from 1995 to 2006.
