Daniel has over 20 years of extensive experience in the consumer healthcare sector, from idea to market launch across product life-cycle. His cross-domain expertise encompasses science & regulation, health claim, clinical research, safety, science based new product development, Chinese medicine herbal ingredients, scientific affairs and policy-regulatory engagement. Dr Tsi has led regional scientific and regulatory-safety teams and achieved regulatory, safety and health claim registration/notification of new products and ingredients. In a wider public-private collaboration effort, he is the scientific-regulatory expert representing ASEAN Alliance Health Supplement Association (AAHSA), who co-led with the Philippines officials and experts in completing the challenging ASEAN TM & HS Claims and Claim Substantiation Guidelines, as well as the 2019 ASEAN TM & HS Claim Training. He had been the Vice Chair of AAHSA Scientific Committee in recent years and a co-founding working member of the Health Supplement Industry Association of Singapore (HSIAS) in 2001. As a pioneer scientist in previous corporate role, Dr Tsi has expanded clinical research collaboration across Asia and established applied research facilities to strengthen the scientific evidence of health supplements. Daniel obtained a Doctorate Degree in Pharmacology from the National University of Singapore. He has published in international scientific journals as well as presented at seminars and conferences
