Masae joined Calbee in 1993, beginning her career in sales at the Minami-Kanto Branch before moving into research, where she worked on frying oils, potatoes, and packaging films. She later contributed to product development for potato chips and held roles within the Quality Assurance Division at Calbee’s headquarters. In 2016, Masae was appointed General Manager of the Quality Assurance Division, followed by her appointment as General Manager of the R&D Division in 2022. She assumed her current role as Executive Officer and Chief Technology Officer (CTO) in April 2025.
