Anders and his team support the development and launch of dietary supplements (DS), food and beverages that contain probiotics and other health ingredients throughout the Asia Pacific Region. Anders joined Danisco in 2008 as a senior scientist based in Singapore, where he led R&D projects related to culture formulations for dairy and DS products. Before that he worked as a scientist with a major international food ingredients organisation, where he was involved in culture development and pre-clinical and clinical studies on probiotics and prebiotics. He has a PhD in microbiology from the University of Gothenburg, Sweden and completed postdoctoral research in the field of gastrointestinal microbiology at Australia’s University of New South Wales.
