Elaine is a Senior Research Fellow at KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital and an Assistant Professor at Duke-NUS Medical School, Singapore. Her research spans multiple aspects of maternal and child health, with a particular focus on behavioural nutrition and its impact on child health outcomes. Her expertise has contributed significantly to the development of national health policies, including the Singapore Integrated 24-Hour Activity Guidelines for Children and Adolescents (2020–2021), the Guidelines for Early Childhood (2022), and the Singapore Guidelines for Feeding and Eating in Infants and Young Children (2024).
