Teena is a Life Sciences Associate Principal Scientist at PepsiCo Asia R&D, Thailand, with over 20 years’ experience in nutrition science. She has spent more than 12 years at PepsiCo, supporting the food and beverage portfolio through innovation, research, education and scientific engagement. Her work includes supporting new product development for Gatorade, Quaker, energy drinks and other products, translating nutrition science into product communication and claims, leading sports nutrition and whole grain education, and contributing to portfolio transformation initiatives. She also leads GSSI education engagements and activations across the APAC region and has delivered workshops and presentations internationally.
Prior to PepsiCo, Teena worked with Baxter and the NGO CanKids, and served as a Senior Dietitian at two leading healthcare institutes in India. She holds a postgraduate diploma in Dietetics and Public Health Nutrition from Lady Irwin College, New Delhi, and a Master’s degree in Dietetics and Food Service Management.
